Jenn, Chinatown NYC
Photograph info: Second photo from last Saturday in Chinatown, NYC, with a group of photobloggers, and Jenn who graciously modeled for us! I spent the day with: Devyn Caldwell - 24gotham Camera settings and post-processing: Shot with the Canon EOS 5D Mark II Special message to those who've been reminding me that I'm not posting photos often enough: thank you and rest assured I'll get back to a more regular schedule soon. A lot of things pile up at this time of year, including Little League, Cub Scouts, end-of-year school projects, gardening/yardwork, plus I answer the "Horticulture Hotline" at the Penn State Cooperative Extension a few hours each week during gardening season. Incidentally, you can follow my comings & goings on Twitter! Thank you for visiting Durham Township! --Kathleen Comments
Whether you post daily or once a month, I enjoy your work tremendously, Kathleen. Great image of Jenn! Posted by Fred King on May 16, 2009 10:23 PMNice shot and impromtu portrait, The reds really work. Posted by photo retouching on May 17, 2009 9:25 AMMs Jenn is... Waiting for Pizza? Waiting for Godot? Waiting for a tardy blog diva to post? Or just "Waiting on the World to Change"..... http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=uPOBMzMTP4U Kathleen, your itinerary is a wonder. And while I, for one, am not waiting for you to change, you undoubtedly will......so, thanks for the change, and the wait. Posted by david tinnon on May 17, 2009 11:06 AMLovely model and great composition. Posted by seb on May 17, 2009 2:51 PMI am very patient! Your images are so worth the wait! This is no exception. Excellent! Love the light on her face and the way she is peering around the corner. Posted by Laurie on May 19, 2009 9:43 PMApparently Sun Wei Asso Inc. isn't going anywhere, anytime soon...(can GM make that caim?) Great expression Jenn, but how can there be candid moments with Kathleen around? I mean like any second...click...click....probably I'd see it differently if I was hot, and "twenty something!" But it's about "forty something" too late to test that dynamic theory. Good thing for Township visitors that Kathleen shoots you and not me.....well I could lay on an old dock, and I've been out on a limb plenty of times, and I can jump....well, I could lay on the dock.......and just like in this capture, I could sit on the stairs....sans the handbag...could we change the shades too? ....hello? Posted by david tinnon on May 20, 2009 2:05 AMIn the darkened stairway she sits Hello ~ I'm from Hong Kong and I just found your photoblog by accident. I find your photos very impressive and inspiring with great composition and content. I mean a city girl like me in Hong Kong can barely imagine what it looks like living in rural areas. By the way, Sun Wei is my hometown in China ~ I really miss that place. Posted by stephanie on November 3, 2009 4:51 AMSpeak!
