Nockamixon Road Looking East, 9:00 a.m.

Photograph info: This photograph was taken this morning. We had sunshine and temps in the mid-60s today - lovely pre-spring weather. Hope you were able to get outside and enjoy it. Even a few minutes is restorative!

The birds in formation are Canada geese.

Spring officially begins on Friday, March 20th at 7:44 a.m. EDT.

Camera settings and post-processing: Shot with the Canon EOS 5D Mark II and the Canon EF 24-70mm f/2.8L lens at 24mm, ISO 200, f/18, 1/125s. Curves adjustment for contrast.

Thank you for visiting Durham Township!

It's about time those geese made their point. Looks like another point is being made about the powerful impact of a singular, momentary vision. Beautiful! (or, on this site, somewhat above average!) Kathleen, you get a "10," the geese get a "7.3."

What a peaceful scenery in a wide country. In comparison my bavarian landscape is so crouded, buildings everywhere...

The muted grays and browns of winter now retreating.
The sprouts and buds of new life so soon repleting.
The geese on their northward path are winging.
All speak to the new season that upon us will be springing.

I love the picture. I like the way you have captured the foreground but then the image just seems to fade out into the distance towards the mountains.

Wonderfully captured! Always enjoy your wide open landscapes.

Sign of Spring? Or Autumn?
Superb capture, with the "V" in skies.. Awesome work

I really like how you captured the light on the rolling hills in the foreground and how that plays against the mountains in the background. Very well done.

Really simple but really nice. Good touch with the birds.

Great capture! The shot even without the birds would be fantastic but then add the flock and becomes great. Just beautiful and inspiring.
