Blowing Bubbles
PHOTOGRAPH INFO This photo was taken a couple of evenings ago -- the late day sunlight really makes a beautiful glow on the bubbles. Happy Independence Day to all you Americans out there! I'll be on vacation for a few days -- see you next week. Camera settings and post-processing: Shot with the Canon EOS 5D Thanks for visiting Durham Township! --Kathleen Comments
Beautiful colors in this image. Love your focus on the bubbles..and the colors within. Posted by Marcie on July 3, 2008 12:35 PMHappy Independence Day to you too! It's the 2008 Durham Township half-time intermission; get a drink, make some popcorn, use the potty, and be back in time for the second half! Posted by david tinnon on July 3, 2008 6:07 PMThis is wonderfully surreal. Have a happy 4th and a nice getaway! Very original capture. Love the shallow DOF. Nicely done! Posted by Ilan on July 6, 2008 3:13 PMI like the rainbow in the soap bubbles. Posted by Chris Chisu on July 7, 2008 3:52 AMYour work is amazing, simply love it!! Posted by Miss Bebop on July 7, 2008 9:02 PM Very fun image with appealing mix of colors. Just proves sharp focus is not “a must” for a pleasing image. Great shot! Posted by Andrew on July 19, 2008 10:19 PMOn this Independence Day, we find our Nation in the grasp of outside influences; influences that are bent on the destruction of our way of life. We seem happy to be controlled by others. We complain and affix blame only as far as we are directed to. We are content to let others lead us, to think for us, to provide for us, to quietly give away our freedoms. We let others inflate and deflate us to suit their needs; to have us drift skyward, with no purpose or hope, or to create internal conflict so that we fracture and devolve in to a country of slaves. Do we still have unity enough as Americans to take back that which has been fought and died for so many times in our brief history, or are we destined to be unwitting subjects to an unknown master, whose sole mission is our ultimate destruction? Fly your flags proudly today, my friends, and hope that we may awaken in time to celebrate another Fourth of July. Posted by Willow on August 3, 2008 12:02 PMSpeak!
