Last week Jenn was home from college on spring break and she went running through a few fields one sunny and breezy afternoon.

Camera settings and post-processing: Shot with the Canon EOS 5D and the Canon EF 24-70mm f/2.8L lens at 24mm, ISO 400, f/20, 1/400s. Curves, color balancing.

For this is a picture also majestic
As Jen runs along

Perfect colors and the mood is really joyous. I can feel the thawing ground beneath my feet and smell the sharp scent that come as the sun warms the earth.

Jenn, Jenn, a week to run
Through the hills
In Durham's sun.

Oil and gold are on the rise,
our dollars have taken a spill,
on a sunlit field under perfect sky,
even Jenn is going down hill.

But things never looked brighter,
and for this, we thank you dear.
The elements of the bigger picture
are perfectly balanced here.

A masterpiece in my book. (actually it should be in your book!)

I think the composition here is really good. You get a sence of the girl running along the field, and in the same time you get the feel of her being so small, when you get the view of the mountains in the distance. Very good aperture choice!
