Playing Tag at Sunset

PHOTOGRAPH INFO

This photograph was taken on Thursday, one of our first days with spring-like temperatures. We "spring forward" into Daylight Savings Time this coming Sunday, nearly a month earlier than usual, and I'm looking forward to many evenings spent outdoors.

Camera settings and post-processing: Shot with the Canon EOS 5D and the Canon EF 17-40mm f/4L at 32mm, ISO 500, 1/200s at f/10. Curves adjustments, color balancing.

Thank you for visiting Durham Township!

" I'm looking forward to many evenings spent outdoors."

I'm right there with you

The title of this one makes it that much more special

"...and a time for every purpose under heaven" certianly includes a little tag under a big sky....and the point could hardly be better made....a joyous end to a full day....and if Daylight Savings Time helps you find the shots, the added time will come to good purpose.

So here's to looking forward....to pulling weeds and mowing the lawn, (and summer walks with Kathleen.)

The colors produced by the waning sun
The silhouettes of kids having some fun
As winter fades
And spring invades
Finding perfect pictures keeps K on the run.

wonderful deep tones and huge sky. The figures at the bottom give it a joyous appeal. Well done again.

This photograph really caught my eye. Usually I don't like all the empty space near the top, but having the horizon line near the bottom really interests me and makes the photo. It really grounds the people and the sunset as well. The silhouettes were captured very nicely and their movements really speak to the actions of the two figures. The colors are amazing. This is a really nice photograph.

There's a comet near the horizon?
