Hunting Blind in the Fog
PHOTOGRAPH INFO I took this photo on Tuesday afternoon. The fog rolled in for an hour or two before a huge rainstorm. The hunting blind is in regular use; I saw deer hunters in the little structure a few weeks ago. Thank you for visiting Durham Township! --Kathleen Comments
Lubie takie klimaty. Beautiful and peaceful. Fabulous composition. I admire your sense of design. Posted by Anita Bower on March 6, 2008 7:29 AMI/eye dis the rural minimalism on display here There's something very beautiful about the absence of any visible objects throughout most of the frame due to the fog - it feels like a very desolate place, although I know it's probably not. Posted by Justin Gaynor on March 6, 2008 8:59 AMLOVE it! That's all. Posted by RD on March 6, 2008 10:17 AMKathleen, That's a beauty! I'm a photography-obsessed friend of Barbara Fugate and Lucia Neare in Seattle. They turned me on to your website. I love the way you see. I am inspired. John. Posted by John Small on March 6, 2008 1:49 PMIn that fog, I'd be hunting blind too. (Another cousin to that Carpentersville image in the Way-Back machine!) Very Zen-ish, thank you. Posted by david tinnon on March 6, 2008 3:47 PMBeautiful. Very simply, emphasizing the flog. Posted by hwalk on March 6, 2008 11:05 PMVery serene and peaceful. I quite like this one.
