We know that Monet, Wyeth and others have clicked
those lens for you but now here comes George
Gershwin with his Rhapsody in Blue.

First impression is that of a well groomed land. Like someone test driving their new landscape rake or a huge notched trowel. (That tree looks familiar....hmmmmm, got to look through the archives--keyword=tree.)

As I hit the comments button to see your info, I'm thinking, "those colors could be Monet-ish-esque."

Not surprising to find, Victoria is way ahead of me. like a duet with Monet and Gershwin.......OK a trio; Monet on the brushes, Gershwin conducting and "Our Lady of Durham" playing the Canon.) The land is lined and dotted not entirely unlike aome distant sheet music that we are invited to read, and perhaps hear if we've the ears.

I continue to be so impressed with the mounting evidence that, not only CAN you go out and compose scenes like this, you persistently DO.

Also apparent: JPH found a thesaurus.
All the better to keep the rhymes
in line
for us.

Thanks to you, I get up once and have two beautiful mornings.

Carpentersville Dawn-ish-esque, or is it just me? (Sort of a hue-temp reversal and the dramatic lone tree thing that works so well.)

Beautiful image. The colors really work well together. Great balance with the tree as well.

Wonderful colors. For some reason I have a Bob Newhart show vibe while viewing this photo.

Could this be the cold blue tones of winter's last stand?

Beautiful!
