PHOTOGRAPH INFO

Another photo in a series from the Westminster Kennel Club Show at Madison Square Garden in New York City last Monday and Tuesday.

Not sure this needs an explanation, but just in case: someone on the left is holding a treat for the Rottweiler. The red-haired woman in the background is carrying a large shopping bag with an image of a Pug on it. The red-haired woman and the Pug seem to be looking at the Rottweiler's treat, too. :)

Camera settings and post-processing: Shot with the Canon EOS 5D and the Canon EF 24-70mm f/2.8L lens at 35mm, ISO 3200, f/2.8, 1/160s. Basic curves adjustment.

Those eyes, wow.

You can tell a lot just by the way a person carries their head........or in this case, their dog's head.

You plan this effect, or discover it later? Reminds me of the Roman god of comedy, Hilarious.

That Pug bag in the background threw me for a minute. But i love the Rott Face. Just love it.

The pug bag definitely caught my eye I had to do a double take.

The rottie has a very sweet face, his eyes look very gentle.

The pug bag is GREAT! It was good to see you last night, the show was fantastic.

Personally I don't like the blurry (hand?) in the top left, but thats just me :P The rest of it is great, especially the passing pug on the plastic bag which is amusing. Great work.

Justin was right, the show was fantastic. Seeing the photos in person is a world of difference.The arrangements, the lighting, the colors were all so beautiful. It was a privilege to be there with all those people who filled the room.

Oh, to be able to be as focused as this dog!
Last nights show was worth the drive and seeing the pictures in print are a great improvement over the ones on the small screen. Keep up the good work.
