This photo was taken late Sunday afternoon. The forecast called for snow starting around midnight and I caught the clouds rolling in. Unfortunately, the storm blew off the coast and delivered no snow whatsoever!

Camera settings and post-processing: Shot with the Canon EOS 5D and the Canon EF 50mm f/1.4 lens at f/8, 1/200s, ISO 400. Curves adjustments and color balancing.

Great nature shot, the approaching storm clouds contrast nicely in color with the golden field.

The level ground vs. the askew sky. Man's dwelling place vs. God's dwelling place(at least that where we put Him).If I pause to look, God's fingerprints are everywhere around me.

My boys were all geared up for a snow day on Monday...Boy were they disappointed!

This is a stunning landscape. I love the way the storm front cuts the frame on the diagonal.

Keeping the Horizon low and giving more importance to the sky above justifies the title of the picture. Nice composition. I liked the colors but they can be modified at anytime using software.

there is a tiny little patch of checkboard-like swirls in the clouds near the center. i can see why this photo has attracted strawberry lane's and willows and God.
