I can just hear your instructions...."I want to shoot you...place your back against the wall...care for a blindfold?" Her finger looks poised to shoot back. Long shadows but no long face.

The late afternoon sun is so wonderful this time of year.

The shadow of her profile with the tree branches and the fence is very eye catching.

That looks like a great playhouse!

Who is that gorgeous little girl?

Fantastic colors and shapes all colliding above in a riot of blue and gold are made all the more striking by the cleaner plane of the playhouse wall and a sharp portrait. The shadow of the "Lady of the House" provides a bonus double portrait.

The proud home owner has chosen her exterior colors from the autumn pallet, an excellent choice.....now we turn our attention to the foundation contractor.....hmmmmmmm....he seen to have left town.......I would not lean too hard on that wall, young lady!........definitely not up to code for LA.....hope Bucks County doesn't buck much......Oh Kathleen, did you time the solar eclipse of the post, rail and limb? Their very cool shadows add interest to, and soften the repetitious siding.

Thanks to the "Lady of the House," and the lady who shot her, for sharing their works of art.

What beautiful long shadows. I especially love the shadowed pattern of the wire fence on the playhouse. And, of course, the little girl is a real cutie pie!

Sweet shot with nice warm light. Perhaps a bit too "centric" but I'm sure it will be a lasting memory.

The building and the child are in front of you. The trees and the fence are just outside of your vision, but you know they exist nonetheless.

We travel in 2 worlds: the one everyone sees and the one that we feel inside. Sometimes they interconnect creating positive events but sometimes they collide causing negative reactions.

Lets try to teach our children that there need be no secrets; Let's not create a closet of ghosts when they are young. Let's enjoy and appreciate the beautiful little girl that we see and let her enjoy every inch of her playhouse and never worry about what may be hiding in the shadows.
