Puddle at Big Pocono

PHOTOGRAPH INFO

This photograph was taken on Sunday, the first chilly day we've had this autumn, at Big Pocono State Park. It was windy at the top of Camelback Mountain and a big, furry hat was just the thing. :)

Post-processing: Shot with the Canon EOS 5D and the Canon EF 24-70mm f/2.8L lens at 24mm, ISO 400, f/7.1, shutter 1/640s. Curves adjustments and color balancing.

Thank you for visiting Durham Township!

Oh! Is he about to fall? The colors are all yellow now, and it does look cold!

I turned on the heat for the first time on Tuesday morning...Brrr! Fall is definitely here.

This is such a fun shot. Love the hat! It looks nice and toasty warm. It does look like he's about to fall.

Thought he was ice skating at first glance. Brilliant color and an amazing freeze of movement...make a wonderful L.L. Bean cover...if that is their jacket!

You make me loathe the indoors too......thanks, I guess?

Beautiful photo. It reminds me of when I was young and hiking Overlook Mtn with my family above Woodstock NY. In fact I had to look again and study the photo because the trail and the surroundings looks almost the same as when you are just about to reach the peak.

Many times in our lives we will stand in the middle of the water, struggling to keep our balance and not get wet. Time will continue to move ever onward as the seasons change around us. We must never be influenced by the unknown, we must continue to live and never fear the outcome because the outcome is the present and that is where we all must be.
