Very lovely skin tones. Would love to know what is your secret. Posted by derLitograph on April 11, 2007 6:00 AMLove the details of this portrait and the happy expression of the girl. The blue of her eyes are simply amazing. ;-) Posted by nferreira on April 11, 2007 6:32 AMShe's a real cutie. Her eyes are so lively. This is a beautiful portrait. Posted by Laurie on April 11, 2007 6:52 AMAnd a very proud grandpop he is. Lovely portrait! Posted by Josh on April 11, 2007 8:02 AMAnd grandpop should be very proud with such a beautiful, angelic looking granddaughter. Posted by Marie on April 11, 2007 8:54 AMClean, simple, beautiful! Congratulations! Posted by Alex on April 11, 2007 10:11 AMSuper cute young lady with a porcelain complexion, an infectious smile, eyes like sparkling slate, and a "frog green" heart on her sleeve. (This lady has a lot of hearts!) And Kathleen, you have a magical ability to get warm, natural expressions in your portrait subjects. The cropping/composition is so balanced--but then you get great shots clicking blindly through the windshield during heavy traffic, thick smoke and (oh yes) Onion Snow! Thank you, Princess of Hearts. Thank you, Grandpop, and thank you, (#1453, but who's counting?) Kathleen. Very nice shot. The picture looks very smooth for ISO 1600 - did you do any noise reduction? I don't seem to get that good of results at high ISO. Good job, nice composition. Posted by Kurt on April 11, 2007 11:02 AMGoes straight to my heart! Fantastic. Posted by Ruth on April 11, 2007 12:16 PMWell done. The purity of her skin and the charm of her smile make this special. Posted by Dennis on April 11, 2007 12:45 PMKurt: No noise reduction. The 5D is super at high ISOs. Posted by Kathleen on April 11, 2007 1:15 PMso sweet :) Posted by Cousin Jenn on April 11, 2007 2:44 PMA beautiful, classic portrait of a lovely girl.
