Another shot from last week, taken at sunset. Strangely, It was 82 degrees here two days ago - a little warm for March but still wonderful. Bye-bye winter!

Post-processing: Shot with the Canon EOS 5D and the Canon EF 17-40mm f/4L at 17mm, ISO 400, 1/1250s at f/4. Basic curves adjustment and color balancing.

Grreat shot. I love the silhouettes.

I love the color on the cottony, wispy clouds and the contrast against the sky and ice. The gradational tone of the sky looks like you used a circular polarizer for this shot. Did this pooch make an appearance in an earlier image? He looks like that happy Newf that you captured a little while back. Beautiful work (again).

I first thought it was a sand dune at the seashore, but then the clouds are "left-overs" from a recent sky....now I get it...."Sphinx In Winter with
Receding Sledder" Cool. (But alais, all will melt as we have been warned.)

The way you describe your weather is just as strange as it is here down south. It's almost April in Florida and I'm still getting chills at night.

As for the photo, amazing. Almost looks like the arctic.
