Posted by Kathleen on March 12, 2007 9:19 AMExcellent portrait! The focus is where it should be... in the eyes, and the narrow DoF makes the composition much more interesting. Glad it was very windy yesterday. If the smoke from the pipe was in the man's face, it could be distractive.

I like the pipe and the way the smokes comes out of it very much.
Very cool composition and the smoke pattern is icing on the cake.....that is, if fire can be ice, then smoke can.....or is it; fire is cake then smoke is the.....or....
In any case, your eye and your timing are both hot.
