Clouds and Smartweed (Polyganum pensylvanicum)

This photograph was taken about 5:30 in the evening. The sun was going in and out from those huge clouds, and occasionally it lit everything with amazing intensity.

Post-processing: Shot with the Canon EOS 5D and the Canon EF 24-70mm f/2.8L lens at 24mm, ISO 200, shutter speed 1/800s and aperture f/9. Curves adjustments to decrease contrast/saturation; color balancing for tone. No burning/dodging on this image -- it was all about the clouds and the sun.
