Posted by Umesh on November 20, 2006 3:27 PMthis is absolutely gorgeous, the shadows are splendid as they creep up that wonderfully rich wall of saturated hues ... wow! Posted by daisies on November 20, 2006 4:22 PMWow, I love it! One of my favourites from the last few months. Posted by Justin on November 20, 2006 4:55 PMTerrific shadows. Love the red of the barn. Posted by John on November 20, 2006 5:37 PMThat took me straight back. I'm feeling that yellow light on my face...crisp and warm at the same time. I'm missing YOUR pumkin pie...boohoo. I'm singing along right now...weep no more today! We will sing one song for my ol' KY home farrrawwwwayyyy!!!! XOXO Posted by Barbara on November 20, 2006 6:39 PMGreat shadows, they frame out your subject. Posted by Angry Buddha on November 20, 2006 7:10 PMAbsolutely lovely.. Nice warm sun and cold shadows! Posted by Rahul on November 20, 2006 10:41 PMWow! Hugely impressive light! It's as if the house is on fire (kinda) with such reds!¬! Posted by LwS on November 21, 2006 11:20 AMThe dark trees aginst the blue, their shadows aginst the red. The rest is bonus textures and angles. You got the eye for setting "em up and good taste when it come to the post-tweeks. As for the exact size of "Gatah," it's hard to figure without a John Deere or a combine along side for comparison. (And I suppose we'll just have to struggle along without the latin tree names--but considering the general warmth of the overall image and the approching hollidays, we'er willing to overlook the omission.) Thank you Kathleen, PS I recomend James Taylor and Mark O'Connor doing "hard times come again no more" by the same feller. It IS all about the light!! I love using the Kodak films during the late afternoon light, they really emphasize the warm colors. Beautiful shot! Posted by micki on November 21, 2006 2:43 PMTruely stunning, that depth of colour looks almost drinkable..it's an old cliche, but always worth repeating, first look for the light, then look for your picture. Rod A. Posted by Rod Andrews on November 21, 2006 3:50 PMAbsolutely fantastic! and hi Kathleen, it has been too long since I have dropped by for a mini holiday :) Posted by james mcmanus on November 22, 2006 2:33 AMPerfect picture for a Thanksgiving week. Love the colors and shadows. - Happy Thanksgiving, Enjoy :) Posted by Noreen on November 22, 2006 7:39 AMThis is gorgeous, and I really like the angle from which you photographed the scene. Excellent. The light and shadows are just great and the colours are lovely. Warm but with a sense of cold to come at the same time, if you see what I mean? After viewing a lot of your photos I have become a real fan. I absolutely HATE the fact that you have to insert some lame human into every scene, but your eye for photography is very keen. Thanks for posting such awesome shots! Posted by Danniel-san on June 10, 2007 12:47 AMSpeak!
