Late Day Light with Snow
Comments
I love the "golden hour" lighting in the first three photographs. The snow has been transformed into a magical desert. I like the composition in "Icy Muzzle." It draws attention to the ice and is unconventional. Most people would be troubled by the cut off head, but it works fine for me. Excellent work as usual, Kathleen. :) Posted by disneymike on January 28, 2005 2:24 AMIcy Muzzle! Posted by mjulius on January 28, 2005 7:26 AMCOLD muzzle, warm heart! Posted by Abdulhadi Najjar on January 29, 2005 2:23 PMThese are all very nice. I like the abstractness of Blowing Snow . . ., and the concreteness of Icy Muzzle. I also really like Late Day Weed Shadows, especially the horizontal lines across the lower half of the frame. This is a case in which putting the horizon in the middle works well. Posted by VISUAL FIELD on January 29, 2005 8:46 PMI really like the blowing snow effect. The slow shutter speed really captured the motion. I've had a hard time with moving snow. Posted by Scott on January 30, 2005 12:06 PMKathleen..you're amazing..I can't remember why it's been so long since i've visited. Posted by tanner on February 14, 2005 2:32 AMSpeak!
